Because one can never have too much Dr. Horrible and Serenity, I’m here to remind everyone that the Chicago CSTS event is coming up on August 20th at 7pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and can be purchased at http://www.chicagolandbrowncoats.com/cant-stop-the-serenity/merchandise/ until July 15th.
Also of note, if we didn’t have the size shirt you needed, there are still shirts available to order for the Chicago show.

Last minute updates…
In just over 24 hours we’ll be joining once again for CSTS. Here’s everything you should know to help you enjoy the show and keep things running smoothly…
Preorders:
If you haven’t ordered your tickets yet, they are available through our website at http://cstsmadison.com/purchase-tickets/ and will continue to be available until Saturday morning. Everyone that has ordered tickets or merchandise should have received a receipt by email. We will have copies of all of the receipts at the show so you don’t need to have it printed out but it can be helpful.
Getting in the Theater:
The movie that plays before CSTS has been running a bit longer than expected so it looks like the auditorium will be opening closer to 8:45. We will make sure that everyone has plenty of time to get in the auditorium even with this compressed transition time.
Merchandise:
We will have shirts, hoodies, and posters available for sale at the show. Posters will be available again this year for $5. Shirts, available in unisex, baby doll, and v-neck cuts, will be $15. Hoodies will be available for $25. I know that hoodies are hard to think about in 90 degree heat but I assure you that they will be much more useful in just a few short months.
Hopefully everyone that has been to our CSTS event in the past has enjoyed it. It’s a special feeling when you get this many passionate fans together to watch great films. Just one more day and Serenity flies again.

About the Lady Sovereigns
CSTS Madison is proud to have with us this year a special guest organization that we feel is the very embodiment of the mission of CSTS. The Lady Sovereigns are a Madison area women’s flag football team that is comprised mostly of the members of the local Hmong community. As a team, their goal is to provide an active social group for girls that is positive for both them and their community.
The expectations for their team members is to work hard, understand team work, perform well, never give up, and become role models through communication, commitment, support, respect, comfort, friendship, and sisterhood. Off the field, the commitment to these values has been demonstrated through their participation in community charity events such as fall leaf raking, being Salvation Army bell ringers, and running a stand at the Hmong New Year celebration. They will also be helping with CSTS and having a bake sale at CSTS to raise funds for CSTS and their coming season.
Be sure to stop by the Lady Sovereign’s table and support this great organization and CSTS!
One Week Until Serenity, Dr. Horrible… and Browncoats – Redemption
Quick update for everyone… We have secured Browncoats – Redemption for this year’s event giving us a total of 3 excellent movies to watch next weekend. Doors will open at 8:30 with Dr. Horrible starting at 9pm.
If you haven’t picked up your tickets yet, preorders are discounted $2 online and will be $7 for students and $12 for adults at the door.
We will have tshirts and posters available at the event as well as additional items being sold by our guest organization, the Lady Sovereigns. More information on that will be coming on our site.

Our CSTS lifetime sponsor, The Bedlam Bards, have released a new album of Firefly inspired drinking songs to spread the mood of the Canton bar across the ‘verse.
